Markers of systemic neutrophil extracellular trap (NET) formation may remain elevated in individuals with Long COVID.

  • Neutrophil extracellular trap formation is known as NETosis.
  • Long COVID is associated with persistent symptoms following initial infection.
  • The long-term status of NETosis markers in Long COVID patients is currently unclear.
  • Further investigation is needed to determine the relationship between NETosis and Long COVID symptoms.
