Abstract

A classification model integrating ANGPTL4 and DST achieved a training set AUC of 0.95 and a validation set AUC of 0.87.

  • ANGPTL4 levels were significantly elevated in the first trimester in women who later developed gestational diabetes mellitus (GDM).
  • Upregulation of ANGPTL4 was observed in GDM placentas with P-values indicating statistical significance.
  • ANGPTL4 expression was predominantly found in extravillous trophoblasts, showing a positive correlation with cellular senescence.
  • Differentially expressed senescence-related genes (DE-SRGs) in GDM placentas were highly enriched in pathways related to lipid metabolism.
  • Cell communication analysis suggested potential interactions between ANGPTL4 and specific receptors in extravillous trophoblasts.
