Abstract
Modification of lipid nanoparticles can significantly improve the targeting of T cells by enhancing the accumulation of antibody-modified mRNA-lipid nanoparticles.
- Ligand-modified lipid nanoparticles (LNPs) can effectively deliver messenger RNA (mRNA) to specific tissues or cells.
- Using T-cell-targeting models shows that targeting efficacy is influenced by the surface characteristics of the LNPs.
- Modification of the lipid components, such as DSPE-PEG-methoxy and the use of DSPC or DPPC, is associated with enhanced accumulation in T cells.
