Using Aptamer-Guided mRNA to Improve Immunotherapy

Updated

Abstract

A fourfold increase in CD4+ T-cells and a sevenfold increase in CD8+ T-cells were achieved with the OX40 mRNA-conjugated T-cell aptamer.

  • The novel drug delivery platform targets immune cells to improve mRNA therapeutics.
  • Efficient delivery of mRNA to T-cells is facilitated by aptamer-mRNA conjugation.
  • The platform demonstrates potential for customization to target other specific cells.
  • Enhanced mRNA transfection was observed in murine ex vivo splenocyte T-cells.
