  • Open-label studies indicated potential benefits of ayahuasca for depression lasting up to 21 days.
  • Mixed results were observed regarding ayahuasca's effects on cognitive function and creativity.
  • Some evidence suggests improvements in mindfulness and self-acceptance, though these benefits may be short-lived.
