Abstract
Bilateral non-arteritic optic neuropathy (NA-AION) may occur following exposure to semaglutide.
- A case of NA-AION was reported in a patient with a history of unilateral branch retinal artery occlusion (BRAO).
- Discontinuation of semaglutide led to partial improvement in bilateral disc swelling.
- There was also a partial recovery of visual function after stopping the medication.
