Abstract

Data on body composition changes in pediatric obesity with GLP-1 receptor agonists is limited.

GLP-1 receptor agonists are recognized as effective treatments for weight loss.
The effects of these medications on body composition in children with obesity are not well documented.
There is a need for further evaluation of how GLP-1 receptor agonists influence body composition in this population.
