Abstract

A significant reduction in elevated intracranial pressure (ICP) may be achieved with glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1) receptor agonists.

  • Elevated ICP is linked to an increased risk of cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) leaks.
  • Idiopathic intracranial hypertension (IIH) is associated with elevated ICP.
  • GLP-1 receptor agonists have shown potential in lowering ICP in patients with IIH.
  • The study aims to assess how GLP-1 agonists may affect the occurrence of CSF leaks.
