Evidence

This was a machine-learning and clustering analysis of electronic health records from 6.5 million adult patients in the National COVID Cohort Collaborative.

Caveat

The groups and phenotypes were based on recorded diagnoses and conditions, so the findings reflect EHR representations rather than direct symptom or biological measurement.
