Abstract
Myalgic encephalomyelitis/chronic fatigue syndrome (ME/CFS), Long COVID (LC19), post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), rheumatoid arthritis (RA), and multiple sclerosis (MS) share substantial symptom overlap.
- These disorders are characterized by persistent fatigue, cognitive impairment, autonomic dysfunction, and immune dysregulation.
- Despite differing diagnoses and clinical presentations, the biological mechanisms underlying these conditions are not well understood.
- There may be shared regulatory pathways among these disorders that contribute to their symptom similarities.
