  • Restoration of Drp1 phosphorylation at Ser637 is associated with the protective effects of Exendin-4 on mitochondrial dynamics.
  • Exendin-4 improves metabolic parameters and reduces beta-cell apoptosis in db/db mice.
  • Glucose-stimulated insulin secretion is enhanced in isolated primary islets from db/db mice treated with Exendin-4.
