  • Activation of the TLR-4/NF-κB signaling pathway in glial cells leads to excessive production of pro-inflammatory cytokines and neuronal injury.
  • Fisetin has been shown to inhibit TLR-4/NF-κB-mediated neuroinflammatory signaling and reduce microglial activation.
  • The compound enhances antioxidant defenses through modulation of the Nrf2 pathway and regulates apoptosis-related factors to protect neurons.
