Abstract
Fluorescent protein-based ticker tapes (FPTT) logged dose-dependent, reversible endogenous cFos transcriptional histories in hippocampal neurons at 3-hour resolution over 8 days.
- FPTT allows for multiplexed recording of physiological activities in living cells.
- The technology integrates multispectral fluorescent proteins with self-assembling protein fibers.
- Quantification of cFos and NF-κB cross-talk in neurons was achieved.
- STAT3/cAMP dynamics were tracked during mouse liver injury.
- Unexpected NFAT/STAT3 cross-talk was discovered.
- Cell cycle-dependent oscillating mTOR dynamics were characterized, and four major pathways were analyzed during T cell activation.
