  • There was a reduction in HbA1c levels associated with GLP-1 treatment, with a weighted mean difference of -0.41%.
  • Treatment with GLP-1 analogs was associated with a heart rate increase of 1.30 bpm.
  • The degree of systolic blood pressure change was not related to baseline blood pressure, weight loss, or improvement in HbA1c.
