Updated

Abstract

No systematic review and meta-analysis has analyzed the safety and efficacy of glucagon-like peptide-1 receptor agonism-based therapies in people with end-stage renal disease.

  • Glucagon-like peptide-1 receptor agonism-based therapies may provide potential benefits for individuals with end-stage renal disease.
  • The analysis addressed a significant gap in understanding the effects of these therapies on this patient population.
