Changes in Gut Bacteria During Insomnia Treatment with Lemborexant

Abstract

After 12 weeks of lemborexant treatment, of gut microbiota significantly increased in 29 adults with insomnia.

  • The significantly increased post-treatment.
  • Seven genera of gut bacteria exhibited significant changes after 12 weeks.
  • One specific genus decreased significantly and was negatively correlated with sleep efficiency.
  • Other correlations were observed between gut microbiota and both latency to persistent sleep and sleep efficiency.
