HF-rTMS resulted in a 43.3% response rate compared to 26.8% for sham rTMS after 2.67 weeks of treatment.

  • Response rates at the end of the HF-rTMS treatment period were significantly higher for active HF-rTMS compared to sham.
  • Remission rates did not show a significant difference between active HF-rTMS and sham rTMS at the same time point.
  • At the study's conclusion, response rates remained significantly higher for HF-rTMS than for sham.
  • A greater proportion of subjects receiving HF-rTMS achieved remission compared to those receiving sham treatment at the end of the study.
