  • Transcriptome analysis indicates that the autophagy and mTOR pathways play a role in postmenopausal osteoporosis.
  • Ica treatment alters the expression of proteins associated with autophagy and the mTOR pathway in OVX mice and their stem cells.
  • The AMPK pathway is downregulated in OVX mice but activated by Ica treatment.
  • Inhibition of autophagy reversed the effects of Ica, suggesting its involvement in the treatment's mechanism.
