Variant-adapted COVID-19 vaccines may induce more robust immune responses against closely matched circulating variants.

  • Immune responses from variant-adapted vaccines could be stronger than those from original vaccines.
  • The study indicates that these vaccines are tailored to better match circulating virus variants.
