  • Inflammaging may create a pro-inflammatory environment that, when amplified by external factors, leads to chronic inflammation.
  • Metabolic dysfunction could interact with inflammation through oxidative stress and abnormal signaling from fat-derived molecules.
  • PRISm may represent an early sign of broader systemic inflammatory and metabolic dysregulation.
  • Targeting the interactions between inflammation and metabolism might help in the early identification and intervention for PRISm.
