Essence

Phage RNAP and NP868R-based DNA and RNA vaccine strategies may improve influenza vaccine expression, rescue, production, and immune responses in mice.

Evidence

This preclinical platform study tested phage RNAP/NP868R-based DNA and rdVSV self-amplifying RNA influenza vaccine strategies in production systems and BALB/c mice.

Caveat

The evidence is limited to platform engineering and BALB/c mouse immunization, with further technological optimization and clinical validation still needed.
