The prevalence of among older people in Banepa Municipality is 71.1%.

  • Insomnia was significantly associated with advanced age.
  • Illiteracy was found to be a significant factor related to insomnia.
  • Not being employed was linked to a higher prevalence of insomnia.
  • Financial dependence on others was associated with increased insomnia rates.
  • The presence of comorbid diseases was significantly related to insomnia.
  • Taking regular medication was found to be associated with insomnia.
