Abstract
All neurotic disorders may respond quickly to low dose ketamine (0.5-1.0 mg/kg I.M.), even when resistant to conventional treatment.
- Neurotic disorders include major depressive disorder, panic disorder, social anxiety disorder, generalized anxiety disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder, and specific phobia.
- Each disorder has a unique response to various pharmaceutical treatments.
- Low doses of ketamine have been shown to induce rapid responses in these disorders.
- This response may occur despite resistance to traditional treatment options.
