Prevalence and predictive features of metabolic dysfunction-associated steatotic liver disease in type 1 diabetes

• Individuals with higher liver stiffness measurements tended to have a longer duration of type 1 diabetes, older age, higher body mass index, and higher controlled attenuation parameter scores.
• The most significant predictors of fibrosis severity were the duration of type 1 diabetes, age, and systolic blood pressure, with an area under the curve of 0.73 ± 0.03.
