  • SIRT1 increased fetuin-A levels, which is associated with reduced vascular calcification.
  • SIRT1 suppressed ferroptosis by restoring key antioxidant mechanisms and limiting oxidative stress.
  • MicroRNA-181c-5p directly targets SIRT1, promoting vascular smooth muscle cell calcification.
  • SIRT1 activation promoted mitophagy through the Pink1/Parkin pathway, which may interact with its anti-ferroptotic effects.
