A ready-to-use delivery system targeting specific immune cells for personalized mRNA cancer vaccines with strong immune response in primates

Updated

Abstract

NanoReady induced potent CD8 T-cell responses in a mouse model, resulting in significant tumor growth suppression and improved survival.

  • NanoReady is designed to encapsulate a wide range of mRNA lengths in stable nanoparticles.
  • It selectively delivers mRNA to dendritic cells in the spleen, which may elicit robust immune responses.
  • The platform enhances protein expression through efficient endosomal release of mRNA.
  • Compared to conventional lipid-based formulations, NanoReady achieved higher antigen expression and stronger T-cell immunogenicity.
  • A pilot study in non-human primates indicated antigen-specific T-cell responses following vaccination with NanoReady-mRNA.
  • Repeated administration of the NanoReady-mRNA vaccine showed no toxicity in various animal models.
