Abstract

This study quantifies orofacial adverse event risks associated with GLP-1 receptor agonists (GLP-1RAs).

Orofacial adverse events may be linked to the use of GLP-1RAs.
The investigation utilized a large-scale matched cohort to assess these risks.
Concerns regarding 'Ozempic teeth/mouth/tongue' were specifically addressed in the analysis.
Findings clarify the relationship between GLP-1RA therapy and oral health.
