Abstract
A total of 8102 publications on papillary thyroid carcinoma (PTC) were identified from January 2010 to December 2019.
- The annual number of publications on PTC showed an increasing trend over the study period.
- The United States, China, and South Korea were the leading countries in PTC research output, citations, and collaborations.
- Thyroid was identified as the most productive journal for PTC publications.
- Akira Miyauchi was noted as the author with the highest number of published articles.
- Yonsei University emerged as the most productive institution in PTC research.
- Research hotspots included keywords related to proliferation, invasion and metastasis, diagnoses and prognoses, therapeutic resistance, recurrence, and , with sustained interest over the last three years.
