Amyloidogenic fibrinaloid microclot complexes (FMCs) were previously identified in Long COVID patients.
- PC-POTS, LC-IOH, and LC-POTS are chronic post-viral conditions associated with debilitating symptoms.
- Routine laboratory findings are often normal in patients with these conditions.
- It is uncertain whether similar abnormalities to those found in Long COVID occur in PC-POTS and LC-POTS.
- The role of post-translational modifications (PTMs) in the mechanisms of these diseases is not yet clear.
