Patients with psoriatic arthritis have a higher prevalence of type 2 diabetes mellitus and cardiovascular events.

  • Psoriatic arthritis is associated with increased absenteeism from work.
  • Reduced work productivity is observed in patients with psoriatic arthritis.
  • These factors may negatively impact life expectancy and quality of life.
