66% of participants with substance use and psychiatric disorders reported having previously tried psychedelics.

  • 72.4% of participants believe psychedelics could be beneficial for treating substance use disorders (SUD) or psychiatric conditions.
  • 69.8% expressed willingness to try psychedelic-assisted treatment for their own SUD or psychiatric disorder.
  • Previous use of psilocybin, MDMA, or ketamine was associated with a higher likelihood of wanting psychedelic treatment for personal conditions.
  • Participants opposed to psychedelic treatment were more likely to cite various risks, including depression and addiction.
