Essence

Pulmonary rehabilitation was linked to similar physical and psychosocial improvements in patients referred for COPD, ILD, or Long COVID.

Evidence

This single-center retrospective analysis examined 316 enrolled rehabilitation patients, 192 of whom completed PR, using pre-post functional, dyspnea, quality-of-life, and psychosocial measures with mixed-linear modeling.

Caveat

Because the study was observational, single-center, and limited to completers for outcome analysis, randomized trials are still needed, especially for Long COVID.
