Using a Graphene Oxide-Polyethylenimine Material to Deliver RNA That Blocks Muscle Cell Development

Updated

Abstract

Essence

GO-PEI strongly bound siRNA but was less effective than RNAiMax at silencing during C2C12 myotube differentiation.

Evidence

The evidence is a C2C12 cell delivery experiment comparing GO-PEI with Lipofectamine RNAiMax for myotube differentiation and myogenin gene and protein expression.

Caveat

GO-PEI's weak and low buffering capacity limited gene silencing despite strong siRNA complexation.
