PCC trajectories in children and young people (CYP) may fluctuate over a 2-year period following COVID-19 infection.
- Heterogeneous PCC trajectories can exist in CYP post-infection.
- Associations are being examined between PCC trajectories and pre-infection factors such as age, sex, ethnicity, and health needs.
- Post-infection factors under investigation include the nature, quantity, functional impact, and severity of symptoms.
- Mental health and wellbeing are also considered in relation to PCC trajectories.
