Updated

Abstract

The internal consistency coefficients for the Satisfaction with Family Life Scale (SWFLS) were both 0.93.

  • Confirmatory factor analysis confirmed the SWFLS as a single-factor model.
  • Test-retest reliability showed a high value of 0.96.
  • The SWFLS demonstrated strong measurement invariance across genders.
  • Convergent validity was supported by a positive correlation (r = .483) with the Warwick-Edinburgh Mental Wellbeing Scale.
  • Corrected item correlations for the SWFLS ranged from 0.75 to 0.85.
