Abstract

A multi-omics atlas was created from peripheral blood mononuclear cells of healthy donors aged 30-40 and 60-70 years.

  • Extensive age-related changes were observed in immune cell composition and functional states.
  • Differential isoform usage and variations in 3'UTR length were noted in CD4+ effector memory T cells.
  • The remodeling of T cell and B cell receptor diversity was closely associated with aging-related inflammation.
  • The findings highlight the complexity of immune aging beyond mere transcript abundance.
