  • Mitochondrial dysfunction and impaired removal of damaged mitochondria are linked to diabetic cerebral infarction.
  • In vitro treatment with SRT1720@M significantly improved cell viability and increased ATP levels while reducing inflammatory markers.
  • In a rat model of diabetic cerebral infarction, SRT1720@M reduced infarct volume and improved neurological deficits.
  • SRT1720@M may counteract neuronal apoptosis and inflammation by activating the SIRT1/PARKIN pathway and promoting mitophagy.
