A Stable Lipid-Based Nanoparticle Targeting Immune Cells Across Tissues Enables Long-Lasting mRNA Cancer Therapy at the Tumor Site

Updated

Abstract

Essence

A rigid P6CIT lipopolymer nanoparticle may make intratumoral mRNA cancer vaccination more durable in melanoma models.

Evidence

This preclinical nanoplatform study tested APC-targeting LPNPs co-delivering tumor-antigen and IL-12 mRNAs in biodistribution assays and B16-OVA/B16F10 mouse melanoma models.

Caveat

The evidence is limited to mouse tumor models, with no human safety or efficacy outcomes.
