Fifteen unique systemic inflammatory regulators may be causally associated with the risk of seven major psychiatric disorders.

  • Two systemic inflammatory regulators are linked to attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD).
  • Four regulators are associated with anorexia nervosa (AN).
  • Two regulators are connected to autism spectrum disorder (ASD).
  • Two regulators may be related to major depression disorder (MDD).
  • Two regulators are indicated in obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD).
  • Five regulators are suggested to be connected with schizophrenia (SCZ).
