Link between technology addiction and sleepiness in Turkish health university students

Of the 640 university students surveyed, 68.6% were females.

  • Moderate levels of internet and smartphone addiction were identified among the students.
  • Excessive daytime sleepiness was reported in this population.
  • A significant correlation exists between higher addiction levels and increased sleepiness (p<0.001).
  • Both genders were included, with a total of 445 females and 204 males participating.
