Abstract
Data from 271 healthy adults indicate that the Turkish version of the Chrononutrition Profile-Questionnaire (CPQ-TR) has generally favorable validity and reliability.
- Cross-language agreement for non-categorical items in a bilingual group ranged from 0.57 to 0.97, suggesting moderate-to-excellent consistency.
- Expected differences in nutrition timing were observed based on chronotype, with evening types showing later wake and eating times.
- Significant correlations were found between Night Eating Questionnaire scores and both last eating event timing and night eating frequency.
- CPQ-TR timing variables displayed strong correlations with dietary record-derived meal timings, ranging from 0.92 to 0.97.
- Agreement for the largest meal of the day was low, indicating that this item should be interpreted with caution.
- Test-retest analyses indicated good-to-excellent temporal stability, with ICC values between 0.86 and 0.98.
