  • The biomimetic skin matrix (BSM) was created from human adipose tissue and combined with apoptotic bodies.
  • BSM@FABs demonstrated a strong affinity for fibroblasts, which are crucial for wound healing.
  • This combination reversed cellular aging, accelerated cell movement, and stimulated new blood vessel formation in wounds.
  • A novel liquid-liquid phase separation process was identified that enhances mitochondrial energy metabolism.
  • The approach may improve mitochondrial function by increasing energy production while reducing harmful byproducts.
