UA-30 extended lifespan and improved motor function in SOD1G93A mice after 6 weeks of treatment.

  • UA-30 reduced motor neuron loss and neuroinflammation in ALS model mice.
  • Energy recovery and decreased oxidative stress were observed with UA-30 treatment.
  • Enhanced mitophagy was linked to UA-30's inhibition of RalA activity.
  • UA-30 improved stability of the FOXO3a protein and increased expression of genes related to mitophagy.
  • The positive effects of UA-30 were negated by RalAG23V overexpression or Mdivi-1 treatment.
