Profiling RNA changes from very small sample amounts

Updated

Abstract

Essence

Uli-epic is a library construction strategy for profiling RNA modifications from ultra-low-input samples.

Evidence

This platform experiment applied Uli-epic BID-seq to sites using 500 pg of rRNA-depleted mouse neural stem-cell and sperm RNA, and Uli-epic GLORI to quantify using 10 ng of rRNA-depleted RNA.

Caveat

The abstract gives limited validation detail and demonstrates the method only in selected mouse sample types.
