- Recent findings suggest GLP-1RAs may be effective in treating atherosclerosis, heart failure, and peripheral artery disease.
- There is emerging interest in the potential of GLP-1RAs for chronic kidney disease management.
- The use of GLP-1RAs may address three key aspects of vascular aging: stem cell exhaustion, altered communication between cells, and chronic inflammation.
