Abstract

The mean cohort age was 46.49 years among 539 newly diagnosed hypertensive patients monitored over 24 hours.

  • Progressing hypertension stages are associated with significant increases in metabolic risk indicators, including the TyG index and Atherogenic index of Plasma.
  • Left ventricular hypertrophy prevalence increased from 7.3% in normal blood pressure to 34.5% in Stage 2 hypertension.
  • The highest-risk 'reverse-dipper' group had a significantly higher mean age compared to other groups.
  • Left atrial diameter was identified as a common independent predictor of circadian disruption across multiple models.
  • In the reverse-dipper model, both left atrial diameter and left ventricular hypertrophy showed strong independent predictive potential.
  • Inflammatory indices did not demonstrate independent predictive value for circadian disruptions.
