Anti-aging effects on skin of Gosori liquor lees extract by controlling interactions between aged skin cells and fat stem cells

Updated

Abstract

After 4 weeks of use, a cream containing Gosori liquor extract significantly improved skin wrinkles, elasticity, density, thickness, and volume around sunken eyes compared to a placebo.

  • Gosori liquor extract (GLE) suppressed the production of senescence-associated secretory phenotype (SASP) in aged fibroblasts.
  • Treatment with GLE reduced senescence factors in adipose-derived stem cells (ADSCs) when exposed to culture medium from senescent fibroblasts.
  • The regenerative ability of ADSCs was enhanced in the presence of GLE-treated senescent fibroblast culture medium.
  • Adsc migration was stimulated by GLE through increased expression of certain proteins involved in cellular processes.
  • A clinical trial indicated that GLE may have potential as an anti-ageing treatment for individuals over 45 years.
