Long COVID has been associated with an increased incidence of chronic diseases, including type 2 diabetes.

  • Chronic diseases, such as type 2 diabetes, may occur more frequently in individuals experiencing Long COVID.
  • There is a suggested bidirectional relationship between COVID-19 and type 2 diabetes.
