Updated

Abstract

Essence

At least three COVID-19 vaccine doses before SARS-CoV-2 infection were associated with less and better for two years.

Evidence

An observational serial survey cohort of 4809 PCR-tested people in Northern Israel included 1377 reporting infection and linked three pre-infection doses to lower long-COVID symptom reporting (aOR 0.66) and higher QoL.

Caveat

Vaccination timing was not randomized, outcomes were survey-reported, and durability across reinfection and emerging variants was not tested.
