Abstract

After 10 weeks of supplementation with Calebin A (CbA), obese mice showed a remarkable reduction in adiposity and blood glucose levels.

  • CbA is associated with improved lipid metabolism and thermogenesis in mice fed a high-fat diet.
  • It modulated the balance of immune cells in adipose tissue, promoting anti-inflammatory responses.
  • Inflammatory markers were reduced in both adipose tissue and liver, while anti-inflammatory IL-10 was increased.
  • CbA enhanced the expression of insulin signaling proteins and improved glucose uptake in liver cells.
  • These observations suggest that CbA could be a potential treatment for obesity and related hyperglycemia.
